    The Royal Horticultural Society is the UK's leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening. Membership means free entry to their main gardens and many others with a monthly magazine, excellent for new and experienced gardeners.
  • The Royal National Rose Society
    Founded in 1876, the Royal National Rose Society is a leading gardening charity dedicated to encouraging, improving and extending the science, art and practice of the cultivation and conservation of roses.

Gardens to visit

  • Kew Gardens
    Kew Gardens (a World Heritage Site) and Wakehurst Place in West Sussex – these house Kew’s collections, laboratories and the Millennium Seed Bank – and show the importance of plants in all our lives.
  • Wisley
